Welcome and thank you for being here.

Beth Anderson, M.Ed., LPCC

Hi! My name is Beth. To stay in alignment with myself and achieve my goals, I’ve built self-care and grounding practices into my daily life. I love helping others do the same. I try my best to balance the passion I have for work with the love I have for my friends and family. When I’m not working or spending time with loved ones, I enjoy exploring other forms of spiritual and holistic healing. This helps me feel connected to myself and the world around me. I meditate every morning as this keeps me centered whenever life decides to launch me a curveball. I also love learning, am an equal rights advocate, and believe in practicing what I preach.

Ultimately, I want the world to be a better place and I don’t believe that will ever be achieved by staying silent. So here I am! During my time in graduate school at North Dakota State University (NDSU), I worked as an On-Call Advocate and Staff Advocate at the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center (RACC). During my time at RACC, I would answer phone calls in addition to meeting survivors at the Emergency Room after they had been recently assaulted. Being with women during these difficult times, I felt a calling to empower all women through all different walks of life.

After graduating with my Masters of Education (M.Ed) through the Clinical Mental Health and Counseling (CMHC) program, I decided to follow my passion and make it my life’s work. I spent several years working towards licensure and became a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) through the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health (MNBBHT). Working with a special interest in women’s rights issues, I obtained additional training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and use this strategy primarily, in addition to other supplemental therapeutic strategies. These integrative strategies assist in the reduction of mental health symptoms so that women can start living the lives they’ve deserved to have all along.

Regarding my profession, I find the most fulfillment in assisting others through their healing process and pushing them to strive toward their fullest potential. Being able to witness the transformation of someone going from an overwhelming sense of self-doubt and feelings of inadequacy to a full-blown POWERHOUSE is an incredible experience to be a part of. Truly inspiring.
