When Things Are Hard and You’ve Lost All Hope

A letter to the collective:

You have to understand that even if you can’t see the way out, there will always be a way. Sometimes we’re so trapped or paralyzed by fear, loss, and hardship that it’s difficult to know which way is up anymore. More so, even if we did know which direction to move in, we may feel like we don’t have enough strength to make it all the way there on our own.

It’s okay to rest but do not allow yourself to live in darkness. When we’re in the dark for too long, we run the risk of going blind and becoming disillusioned. Ultimately, it will be up to you to keep your heart and mind open enough so you can recognize various forms of guidance that come along your way.

Whether we’re stuck on the floor from grieving or if we’re lying in the fetal position because we just can’t bare it any longer, that’s when we need to make a conscious decision as to whether or not we’re going to continue living life this way. Will we let the light in?

We don’t have to have it all figured out and we don’t have to have all the answers as to why things happened the way that they did. We just need to decide if we’re willing to let things get better. That decision will be enough to create momentum. To create a shift. That’s how you learn to get back up off the floor. That’s how you learn to get “unstuck”. By making a DECISION to allow in assistance. Why choose to move at all? Because we are always loved more deeply than we will ever know AND we deserve to be happy. We deserve to be free.

So, if love and support finds you, will you let it in?
